This grand home is  so comfortable you will not want to leave.  Located just south of famed  Honoka'a on the historic Hamakua Coast and close to Waipio Valley,  Waimea, waterfalls, quaint shopping spots and ocean adventure areas.

Maximum occupancy is 10 guests.

As you enter the 2.5 acre property through the palm lined  driveway, you'll know you've found your 'home away from home'.  Walk up  the wide front stairs and pause on the front lanai to enjoy the  expansive lawn and garden views.  Then step inside and be greeted by the  grand, open living spaces.  The living room, dining area and kitchen  are all open with a high, vaulted ceiling and wide sliding doors that  open onto the huge lanai with an ocean view.  Trade breezes flow through  the plantation style house daily.

Located on the main strip of  Historic Honokaa Town. 1 minute walk to restaurants, shops & pub! 10  mins drive to Waipio Valley with black sand beach & waterfalls. We  are central makes it easy to travel to both sides of the island to Hilo  or Kona! Free parking, wifi, 4K smart TV,  Original 1925 kitchen sink,  toaster oven, dishes, mini fridge, couch, dinning table. 2 Bathrooms are  shared.

Hawaiian Plantation House

This home is classic Old Hawaiian,  built during the sugar cane days.  It has been lovingly updated, keeping  its charm, with a big grand kitchen and updated baths.   The property is almost one acre, fully fenced, with mature trees and  edibles:  Papayas, Peach, Tangerine, Orange, Lime, Lychee, Star Fruit,  Bananas and Macadamia Nuts.  Feel free to pick what's ripe and enjoy! 

There are ocean views from 2 of the bedrooms and the living room,  that exits via sliding glass doors onto an open and sunny deck, The weather here is generally, mostly sunny, just enough rain to keep things lush and green with cooler nights. The main street, of Historic Honokaa Town, is just a short walk with a number of restaurants, shops and pubs.

Our fully stocked kitchen, clean  environment, comfortable furnishings, lovely yard and beautiful view are  just a few of the things that make our home a great place to call home  during your stay on the Hamakua Coast on Big Island.   Honokaa is a quaint historic town where you will find some of the  best dining on the Island, great shops and activities for those who love  history and/or adventure. Honokaa is the gateway to Waipio Valley  (Valley of the Kings) where the black sand beach beckons you and  waterfalls and cliffs overwhelm the senses. The Hamakua Coast is a  favorite among locals and tourists alike, with tropical landscapes, warm  weather, incredible hikes and so much history.  
 Our home is located within a couple blocks of everything Honokaa,  where you will find great dining options, wide variety of shopping,  parks, golf and it is home to the famous historic People's Theatre.

Studio  cottage is perfect for a couple but sleeps four.  Ocean view from deck and tropical gulch from the side. With the screen in porch you can enjoy  the outdoors without the mosquitoes.

The  fully equipped kitchen has a hot plate,no stove/oven, toaster oven,  full size refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, electric skillet, etc.  Free WiFi,best climate on  the island, no vog. Walk up to town, daily farmers market on the corner.   You can walk up to town or a short drive to Waipio  Valley, an hour to Hilo and 1 hour 45 minutes to Kona. The famous Akaka  Falls is about 20-25 minutes away. The Green studio cottage has a queen  size bed and fold out futon sofa, table & 4 chairs.

Located  on the tropical Hamakua Coast in the historic town of Honokaa, this  home has 2 decks with beautiful ocean view, beside a tropical gulch. It  sleeps 6 with a  Calif King Tempurpedic bed, a queen sofa sleeper &  twin bamboo daybeds. The bamboo daybeds are good for children &  short/average people. The home has 1.5 baths which include a spa tub  & separate shower, free Wifi, Endless Wave pool and Koi pond. The  kitchen is fully equipped with every thing you need to cook a meal. “Luana  Ola” in Hawai’ian means “To be at leisure, enjoying pleasant  surroundings and good health”.  Imagine watching from your own private lanai (deck) a panoramic, unobstructed view of the ocean.  The showers are  mostly gentle, warm and do not wear out their welcome.  And when the  trade winds bring a heavy rain, they reward you with a white water river  running through the gulch guarding you on the left.
